Siri Not Working On iPhone? Here’s The Real Fix!

Siri is an iPhone virtual assistant capable of performing a variety of duties. Follow these steps to ensure Siri is configured effectively and responds to your requests:

Check if “Hey Siri” is turned on. Go to Settings, then tap Siri & Search. Ensure the following configurations are active:

  • Listen for “Hey Siri”
  • Allow Siri When Locked
  • Siri can be trained to recognize your voice.
  • Tap Siri & Search from the Preferences menu.
  • Turn off Listen for “Hello Siri,” then turn it back on.
  • Tap Continue when the “Hello Siri” Setup screen displays.
  • Utter each on-screen command aloud and then tap Done.
  • If Siri stops responding, go to Settings, then tap Siri & Search. Tap Siri Responses and select Prefer Spoken Responses to hear Siri respond aloud even when Silent mode is enabled.
  • Learn how “Hey Siri” works with multiple devices if the wrong device responds to your request.
  • To change the volume of Siri’s voice, adjust it in your iPhone’s settings.
  • If Siri doesn’t activate when you say “Hey Siri” but activates when you press the side or Home button, contact Apple Support for assistance.
  • Siri’s availability, features, and commands vary by language, country, and region. To learn which Siri features are supported in your area, check with Apple.

Following these steps, you can ensure that Siri is set up properly on your iPhone and ready to assist you with your requests.
