Step 1:

 Your iPhone needs to be connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Mac, Apple TV, or a smart TV that is AirPlay compatible.

Step 2: 

  • Launch your iPhone’s control centre.
  • On iPhones  8 and older, swipe up from the bottom of the Screen.
  • On the iPhone X and newer, swipe down from the top right of the Screen.

Step 3:

Screen Mirroring can be turned on or off.

Step 4:

Please choose your device from the list, whether it’s a Mac, Apple TV, or smart TV.

Step 5:

If your iPhone asks you for a passcode, enter it. The big Screen will now look like the Screen on your iPhone.

Step 6: 

To turn off Screen mirroring on your iPhone, open the Control Center again and choose Screen Mirroring > Stop Mirroring. Apple TV menu button stops reflecting.

Sending a video from your iPhone to a TV using AirPlay

Step 1:

Ensure your iPhone is on the same Wi-Fi network as your Apple TV or a smart TV that works with AirPlay.

Step 2:

You can stream any video or audio you want.

Step 3:

Switch on AirPlay. In some apps, you may need to tap Share before using AirPlay.

Step 4:

You can choose your TV from the list that shows up.

To stop the broadcast, tap the AirPlay icon on your app.
