I Deleted the App Store, Safari, iTunes, or the Camera from my iPhone, iPad, or iPod! (No You Didn’t!)

The App Store icon on your iPhone may disappear for various reasons, including being buried in a folder or having limitations that prevent you from accessing it. Here’s how to fix it:

Option 1: Use the Search Tool

Swipe right from the Home screen’s initial page or Lock screen to open Search.
Type “App Store” in the search field to find it.
You’ll see the folder name next to the App Store search result if it’s in a folder. To open the App Store, tap its icon or go to the folder and open it.

Option 2: Restore Your Home Screen

Open the Settings app, tap General, and then tap Reset.
Make sure you want to restore it to the factory default after selecting Reset Home Screen Layout.
The Home Screen will be reset to its default configuration, and the App Store icon should appear on the list of apps’ first page once more.

Option 3: Check Restrictions

Launch the Settings app, and then select Screen Time.
Tap iTunes & App Store Purchases after selecting Content & Privacy Restrictions.
If Installing Apps, Deleting Apps, or In-app Purchases are set to Don’t Allow, convert them to Allow by tapping on each one individually.
Your App Store icon should now appear on your Home screen again.

Remember to take note of the location of the App Store icon and examine your phone’s restrictions to ensure future access. It is essential to have access to the App Store to obtain new applications and update existing ones.
