Quickly remove your phone from the water and take out its battery. It is the first thing you can do to save your phone. Most devices come with a white indicator that turns pink or red, confirming that the device has been water damaged. So, dry the moisture by putting your phone in a bowl or bag of rice for at least 12 hours. You can also dry the phone using a vacuum cleaner. But make sure to keep the vacuum at a distance. You can also apply rubbing alcohol to your device. It may work if the phone isn’t exposed to water yet.
